Using Claude with migration documents and client data
You can connect Casen to Claude and ask about your leads, clients and analyses in plain English. If you use the connector, the information you request through it is sent to Claude, so get your clients' consent first.
What the Claude connector does
Casen connects directly to Claude. There are no dashboards to switch between and no copy-pasting: you ask Claude about your own practice data. The example question on casen.io is "Which of my new leads are still missing a skills assessment?"
You can ask about your leads, clients and analyses. The pricing section lists this under Pro: “Connect Casen to Claude: ask about your leads, clients and analyses in plain English”.
Where the information goes
Casen stores and processes client data in Australia. If you choose to use the Claude connector, the information you request through it is sent to Claude. The results go into your own Claude.ai account, under your own terms with Anthropic.
Casen is not a subprocessor for that data, because it does not control what happens to it once it leaves the platform at your direction. The Trust page sets out the connector wording in full.
Get your clients' consent first
Get your clients' consent before enabling any connector that sends their information to a third party outside Casen's control. Connecting Casen to something else does not change who owns that responsibility.
- Decide whether your clients have agreed to their information going to an AI tool.
- Read your own Claude.ai account terms, because that is where the information ends up.
- Read OMARA's guidance on AI.
You stay responsible
Answers from Claude about your Casen data are indicative. Check them against the file, and make the call yourself. Casen gives no legal advice, and answers you get through the connector are not legal advice.
If you have more questions, see the FAQs, or start free.
Casen's results are indicative, not legal advice. A registered migration agent checks them and decides what to do.
